The faculty members, and employees, should be held accountable for sexual advancements or intimidating behaviors towards a student. In this given situation, a student may feel more comfortable making the initial report of the behavior to a counselor. The report should then be directed to the Division Chair and the Dean of Students.
If it is early enough in the quarter, the student may move into another class with out interruption to the schedule. If it has gone on too long, the student may have the class removed from his or her schedule, receive a full refund and retake this class with another instructor.
